When working with a Social Media Agency like ours, you’ll need to add the agency to your Facebook page so that we can manage the content in Meta Business Suite. Here, we’ll also be able to help with your ads, analytics, reports and everything else.
To add an agency to your Facebook page, follow these steps.
Steps to Add an Agency to Your Facebook Page
- Go into your Meta Business Suite profile
- Navigate to Settings, then Partners
- Enter the agency’s business ID. Our Page ID is 663670719240559
- Select the level of access you want your partner to have. This will vary depending on the type of work they’re doing for you, so make sure you check.
- If this doesn’t work, follow our troubleshooting step below.
How to Find Your Business ID
If you’re an agency or freelancer working on a page’s social media, you’ll need to know your business ID for Meta access, if the page doesn’t want you to use their own log in.
To find your business ID, go to Settings > Accounts > Pages, then select the page and find your page ID.
Once you’ve gotten your ID, send the above steps to your client along with your number.
What Access Roles Are There?
You can give a partner partial access to business tools only (the back-end of the account), access to the Facebook account as well (to directly edit the page) or full access to the page, meaning they can moderate admins and delete the page. Full access should only be granted to people who you trust, so make sure you go through your admin roles to double-check whether full access is necessary.
With partial access, you can customise the level of control an individual has. For example, you can choose whether they have access to ads, content and more features. Check out the image above for the list of settings available.
Troubleshooting
If you’re having trouble adding us to your Facebook page via the agency code, please instead add our work Facebook profiles. To do so, follow these steps:
- Log in to Facebook and open the right page you want to grant access to.
- Go to Settings and privacy, then click Settings.
- In Page setup, click View next to Page access.
- Under People with Facebook access, click Add new.
- Enter our profile below and grant full control/ access.
Enter your Facebook password, click Confirm.
